“ Really friendly staff, my daughter loved her milkshake that came with sweeties on the side. Pepper and cheese toastie with sweet chilli jam was delicious, nice artwork on the walls to look at, entertained my 6 year old daughter while waiting for food. Lovely little place! ”
“ The owners were very kind and accommodating. The scones came out a bit small so they kindly gave us two each which was nice of them! The jam and cream were fresh and paired well with the scones though we still couldn’t quite get a handle on the Cornish way! The toilets were immaculate. We would come here again. ”

“ Looking for somewhere to eat that would cater for people with food allergies (Gluten Free) & found the perfect place. Greeted by a friendly team who were all happy to help, explaining how our meals could be adapted to cater for our requirements. They could just not do enough & were happily talking with us as we chose our order, as well as when bring our food to us. It was 8.45am so we ordered breakfast & drinks, it was all made & cooked fresh but with no real time delay. We sat in the window seat with the sun on us as we ate one of the nicest breakfasts in a while, washed down with tea & hot chocolate. Be careful if you visit, stay away from the cake display as it is way too tempting. Yes, after finishing our breakfast & sitting a while longer in that sun, we just had to order another round of drinks & some cake. The chocolate & prune cake plus a slice of coconut cake went down also. With well satisfied stomachs a little full, we had to walk along the main seafront to work it off. A warm welcome to a clean establishment with great food, so it's a big thank you from us to the whole team at The Quirky Bird Cafe ”
